Spent 4 nights there recently. First, the pros: The room was very conveniently located within walking distance of many of the tourist attractions including the Freedom Trail, Boston Common Park, the aquarium, Faneuil Hall, the Boston Tea Party location and many restaurants. This was important since Boston's streets are not driver friendly and can be congested and difficult to navigate. Also, the staff was very helpful, professional and helpful. Moreover, the room we were in on the 7th floor was comfortable and clean. The water stations and coffee in the lounge area was also a welcome addition. Finally, the hotel gives a discount on the parking - which normally costs about $45/night, but with the discount it was $26/night, but I believe it's even less on weekends for some reason. The cons: The room's air conditioning/heating unit was very loud and necessitated that I had to wear ear plugs to drown out the noise. Our room also didn't have a refrigerator or safe. Also, the entrance way made a sharp left turn as you enter the building which made it difficult to get our luggage cart into the building. Moreover, the room was relatively small and somewhat cramped. Further, the exercise room was welcome, but somewhat small and the weight bench was broken. In addition, every time we used the elevator, we had to use our room key, which was inconvenient as we often had our hands full. Also, the parking deck was about a block away at 275 Washington St. which made it inconvenient for those wishing to park first and unload their luggage. Finally, given the price that we paid for our room, breakfast at the adjacent restaurant/pub should have been included, but wasn't.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is in great walking distance to the Common, Fanuel Hall and the seaport! Beds were comfy and room very clean. I loved the English pub attached. I'll be back!

The staff at the reception was very friendly and accommodating. He was very helpful. The room was big enough for the 2 of us. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom very clean.

We loved the concept of this hotel, particularly the club room off the lobby with comfortable chairs, desks, a large table for conversations with friends, 24/7 coffee maker and ceramic mugs kept warm, and excellent reading lights. The hotel is centrally located in the downtown area with easy access to the historical areas, restaurants, and public transportation. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. We also enjoyed the open sitting area and free coffee drink machine they provided.
